Can I unlock any PDF?

Only use this on PDFs you own or are authorised to modify, and you must know the current password — this removes a known password, it doesn't crack unknown ones.

What if the password is wrong?

If the password doesn't match, the tool can't open the file and will let you know — double-check it and try again.

I forgot the password — can you recover it?
